Senior Product Manager, APIs - MCPs & Integrations

Merative is a trusted clinical decision support solution provider, and they are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their API and integration platform. This role involves defining product strategies, evolving legacy systems into scalable services, and improving developer experiences to drive adoption and usage.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product strategy for APIs, MCP endpoints, and integration capabilities
• Evolve legacy systems into scalable, composable services that support both application and agent-based consumption
• Partner with engineering to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance interfaces
• Establish clear approaches for API and platform productization (packaging, pricing, versioning, SLAs)
• Design repeatable integration patterns to accelerate partner adoption and reduce custom work
• Shape how platform capabilities are exposed for AI-driven workflows and agent-based interactions
• Improve developer experience (documentation, onboarding, tooling) to drive adoption and usage
• Define and track success metrics across adoption, performance, and revenue impact

Requirements:

• 5–8+ years of product management experience, with strong ownership of APIs, platforms, or integrations
• Experience building and scaling external-facing or developer-focused products
• Strong understanding of API design, service architectures, and integration patterns
• Familiarity with modern authentication and security models (OAuth, token-based access)
• Exposure to AI/ML, LLMs, or agent-based systems — or strong ability to ramp quickly
• Ability to operate at both technical depth and business strategy levels
• Experience with MCP or similar emerging interaction models
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, fintech)
• Experience with platform monetization or usage-based pricing
