DevSecOps Engineer

A small cybersecurity consulting firm is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to help build, automate, and secure cloud environments across AWS and hybrid infrastructure. This is a hands on role focused on improving how security is implemented across infrastructure, pipelines, and application environments.

Responsibilities

Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
Automate processes with Ansible
Harden AMIs and container images
Implement Kubernetes security controls and policies
Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and CircleCI
Partner with teams on secure architecture decisions
Participate in a rotating on call schedule

Requirements

5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Engineering
Strong AWS experience
Hands on experience with Terraform and Ansible
2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes in production
Experience with Docker and containerized environments
Understanding of cloud security and secure architecture

Preferred

Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd
Experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana
