Title: BigFix (Support) / Linux Endpoint Deployment Engineer Type: 3-4 month Contract Location: 100% Remote (CST hours schedule)
Summary:
Short-term resource to support the BigFix rollout, focused on Linux endpoints and helping drive deployment and onboarding activities across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- BigFix agent deployment across Linux endpoints
- Linux policy configuration and enforcement
- Troubleshooting deployment and onboarding issues
- Supporting system onboarding and coordination with system owners
- Scripting support (Fixlets / Bash as needed)
- Reporting on deployment/compliance status
- Validating agent install, communication, and patching
Duration / Timing:
- ~3 months
- Targeting late April through July/August
Skillset:
- Strong Linux experience (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- BigFix preferred
- Scripting (Bash/Shell)
- Experience with patching and system hardening
- Main goal is to support rollout execution and reduce load on the team during onboarding.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $55.00-$60.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate].
