K1X is the leading data distribution platform for alternative investments, focused on digitizing the K-1 ecosystem. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Product Manager to oversee product development and management from conception to launch, requiring a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy
- Conduct market research to identify market opportunities and drive product innovation
- Define product requirements and create detailed product roadmaps based on customer feedback, business objectives, and market trends
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to develop and launch products
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business goals
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform future product development
- Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role
- 5+ years in or around the Tax Industry or Tax Technology space
- Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies
- Strong understanding of the Tax Industry or Tax Technology space
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with market research and data analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Proficiency in product management software and tools
- Experience in the tax accounting or financial services industry
- Product management certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Experience working with AI and machine learning technologies
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for driving innovation in the SaaS industry
