Sunbit is a top ranked financial technology company headquartered in Los Angeles, California, revolutionizing how people manage everyday expenses with its cutting-edge Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solution. The Community Marketing Manager will own and run the Sunbeast Community, focusing on engagement and communication among associates at merchant locations that offer Sunbit.
Responsibilities:
- Build the strategy for our new Community platform from the ground up - including segmentation, content calendar, and ongoing engagement campaigns
- Own the day-to-day management of the Sunbeast App community
- Create and post content that sparks conversation and keeps Sunbeasts engaged while moderating discussions, responding to questions, and encouraging participation
- Facilitate meaningful interaction among Sunbeasts by encouraging discussion, sharing best practices, spotlighting wins, and responding to questions or feedback
- Organize community programs like webinars, challenges, or virtual events and build content and resources to support these programs and engagement
- Track engagement metrics (participation, activity, growth), iterate on and optimize what’s working, and tie engagement metrics back to business goals
- Collaborate closely with Strategy, Marketing, and Account Management teams to drive consistent messages, collect feedback and share insights, and have a cohesive message shared across platforms
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on community management, or a related role
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse merchant and Sunbeast audiences
- Experience managing large B2B communities and creating and executing marketing campaigns, that drive engagement and participation
- Familiarity with social and community platforms (e.g., in-app engagement tools, social media, or CRM-driven communication systems)
- Ability to analyze engagement metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Collaborative mindset with experience partnering across sales, product, and customer success teams
- Experience within retail, payments, financing, or lending industries a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
