The Business Planning Project Manager will support pricing, packaging, and launch execution for cloud and technology solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product and service launches.
Responsibilities:
- Support pricing and packaging initiatives by analyzing data, validating inputs, and applying established frameworks to drive alignment across teams
- Assist in the execution of product and service launches, including updates related to pricing, naming, features, and lifecycle changes
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to ensure smooth launch execution
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, track action items, and communicate key updates across stakeholders
- Maintain and update project tracking tools to ensure visibility into project status, risks, and dependencies
- Support operational processes such as change requests, launch documentation, validation activities, and issue tracking
- Monitor project progress and identify risks, blockers, and opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to process improvements, best practices, and team initiatives to enhance efficiency and execution
- Act as a liaison between business planners and supporting teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Assist with reporting and preparation of materials for leadership reviews and decision-making
Requirements:
- 4–8 years of experience in project management, program management, or business operations
- PMI certification (required)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and synthesizing insights to support business decisions
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate updates, risks, and recommendations
- Experience managing multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive tasks to completion
- Experience in the technology or software industry, particularly supporting product or service launches
- Familiarity with pricing, monetization strategies, or business planning processes
- Experience working in large, enterprise environments with complex stakeholder structures
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
- Experience with project management tools and tracking systems
- Ability to identify risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies
- Master's degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field (preferred but not required)
