Project Manager

ABB is a company that helps industries run leaner and cleaner, empowering its employees to lead and grow. The Project Manager will oversee the execution of medium-size projects, ensuring that all activities comply with procedures and standards while showcasing expertise in the Electrical Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project management
• 3+ years of industry relevant experience (electrification, data centers, utilities, etc.)
• Ability to interface and build strong relationships with customers and management
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
• Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, business, or related field is strongly preferred - or significant relevant experience in lieu of degree
• PMP certification is preferred
