PASONA N A, INC. is seeking an experienced petrochemical sales professional to drive business growth for adhesive tie resins used in multilayer packaging applications. The role focuses on new business development and strategic account management across North and South America, requiring a combination of commercial leadership and technical discussions with customers in the petrochemical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customers and new applications for adhesive tie resins in packaging markets
- Drive growth by understanding customer processes, materials, and multilayer structures
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, including recommendations for contract structures
- Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
- Expand business presence in the Americas through long-term, value-driven customer relationships
- Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers
- Maintain strong relationships through regular customer visits and technical discussions
- Identify key decision-makers and build trusted relationships within customer organizations
- Provide technical, quality, manufacturing, and application support, coordinating with internal teams
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular analysis and feedback to management
- Follow up on receivables and support stable, long-term supply relationships
- Support the development and execution of the mid-term business plan, annual budget, and monthly forecasts
- Provide sales and logistics input to management for planning activities
- Execute plans in alignment with approved budgets and business strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
- Ensure all activities comply with internal compliance systems and policies
- Maintain required product control and documentation
- Comply with applicable regulations, including anti-trust, environmental, safety, transportation, and product-related regulations
- Participate in required internal and external compliance training
- Escalate and advise management on compliance-related matters as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of direct B2B sales experience in the petrochemical or polymer materials industry
- Direct experience with adhesive tie resins, compatibilizers, or functional polyolefins
- Solid understanding of coextrusion technologies, particularly multilayer film structures
- Working knowledge of Adhesive tie resin, polyolefins (PE/PP), EVOH, and nylon (PA) and their roles in multilayer applications
- Hands-on exposure to multiple extrusion processes, such as film, sheet, bottle, pipe, or coating
- Sales or technical sales experience at petrochemical resin producers
- Sales or technical sales experience at functional polymer or adhesive resin suppliers
- Sales or technical sales experience at multilayer packaging or film manufacturers
- Sales or technical sales experience at compounding or engineered materials companies
