
The Epic Beaker AP Project Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of the Anatomic Pathology (AP) Beaker module across the health system. This is hybrid in Boston and no third party candidates will be considered.
Key responsibilities include:
Project Leadership & Execution: Lead the full lifecycle implementation from planning and kickoff through configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
Cross-Team Coordination & Integration: Organize cross-team collaboration with various teams for updates and ensure connectivity requirements are met.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Engage and align stakeholders from pathology, IT, laboratory, and clinical teams to define requirements and achieve consensus.
Project Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure smooth project execution.
Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential obstacles during the implementation process.
Qualifications for the role include:
PMP Certification: Required for project management expertise.
Strong experience in implementing Epic Beaker AP within a clinical or laboratory environment.
Demonstrated success leading complex healthcare or clinical systems projects.
Practical understanding of anatomic pathology or laboratory workflows.
Regulatory Compliance: Experience working within regulated or compliance-driven healthcare settings.
Candidates are expected to have a proven track record in healthcare IT project management and at least 2 Epic project implementations under their belt.
