Field Service Engineer - US Remote

Motorola Solutions is a global leader in professional mobile communications systems, dedicated to enhancing safety through technology. The Field Service Engineer will install and support WatchGuard Video applications and hardware, ensuring efficient solutions for clients in critical environments.

Responsibilities:

• Install and support WatchGuard Video applications at Client site, these can be Azure cloud based, Linux based, or Windows based depending on the customer
• Develops and implements the most efficient and cost-effective solutions
• Evaluates system specifications for business requirements
• Works closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs
• Install and support WatchGuard Video In-Car Police Video hardware
• Train end users on functionality of end to end usage of the video system

Requirements:

• High School diploma, or Technical Certificate, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of experience in one of the following: LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, Radio Frequency, Motorola equipment, Wireless Communication Systems, IT Systems, Telecommunications, and Public Safety experience required
• Must have Comp TIA Certifications for this role
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers
• Good communication skills verbal and written
• Must have 3+ years of experience working in a Field Service environment preferred
• Must have experience installing and implementing processes
• Ability troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely matter preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license to be considered for this position
• The ability to travel up to 50% within the Eastern Region as needed
