The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will support field leaders and teammates, enhance leadership capability, and promote a culture of respect and engagement across a distributed workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner and coach to General Managers and District Managers, strengthening leadership capability and accountability
- Reinforce Team Car Care’s RITTE values in daily operations and leadership behaviors
- Provide guidance on performance management, feedback, and development conversations
- Support leaders in building high-performing teams that deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Champion a positive, inclusive culture where teammates feel respected, heard, and valued
- Act as a trusted resource for teammates and leaders, addressing concerns with fairness and consistency
- Identify trends in engagement, turnover, and employee relations, and partner with leaders on proactive solutions
- Help create an environment where strong, direct relationships between leaders and teammates drive engagement and retention
- Partner with operations leaders to support effective labor planning, staffing models, and scheduling practices
- Analyze labor data and trends to identify opportunities to improve productivity and control costs
- Support initiatives that balance operational efficiency with a strong teammate experience
- Partner with hiring managers to recruit and select Crew Chief and above roles, ensuring strong hiring decisions
- Support structured, consistent interviewing practices aligned with Team Car Care standards
- Assist in onboarding and development of new leaders to drive early success
- Contribute to succession planning and internal talent pipeline development
- Provide expert guidance on company policies, procedures, and employment practices
- Support or lead investigations, ensuring timely, fair, and consistent outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain accurate documentation and support risk mitigation efforts
- Partner with leaders to foster a culture of open communication, trust, and responsiveness
- Proactively identify and address workplace concerns to strengthen teammate satisfaction
- Provide guidance to leaders on maintaining a positive work environment that supports strong teammate relationships and engagement
- Support leadership in navigating labor relations matters in a compliant and professional manner
- Design and deliver employee relations training for General Managers and District Managers, including performance management, conflict resolution, coaching conversations, and maintaining a positive workplace culture
- Facilitate teammate relations and leadership training that strengthens trust, engagement, and open communication across stores
- Partner with operations and training teams to support and enhance new teammate orientation, ensuring alignment with Team Car Care’s culture, expectations, and RITTE values
- Lead or support leadership onboarding sessions for Crew Chiefs and above, reinforcing expectations around people leadership and teammate experience
- Identify training gaps based on trends in turnover, engagement, and employee relations, and implement targeted learning solutions
- Ensure training content is practical, field-friendly, and immediately actionable for store leaders
- Measure training effectiveness through turnover trends, engagement insights, and employee relations metrics, and continuously improve programming
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP or field-based HR roles
- Strong background in employee relations, leadership coaching, and workforce planning
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to operational results
- Proven ability to coach and influence field leaders
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify trends and drive action
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Master's degree (MBA, HR, or related field)
- Experience supporting a multi-site, hourly workforce (retail, automotive, QSR, or similar environment)
- Experience with labor relations and union environments
