Endpoint Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer for a 6+ Months Contract job with a client. The role involves designing, implementing, and enforcing secure configuration baselines across Windows and Linux endpoints in a regulated enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Endpoint Configuration Hardening - Windows
• Endpoint Configuration Hardening Contractor to design, implement, and enforce secure configuration baselines across Windows and Linux endpoints in a regulated enterprise environment
• Strong hands‑on experience hardening Windows and Linux endpoints
• Practical experience with endpoint configuration enforcement and automation
• Working knowledge of CMMC Level 2 / NIST 800‑171
• Working knowledge of CIS Level 2
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash preferred)
• Prior work in regulated or government‑aligned environments strongly preferred
