Senior Product Designer

TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking a Senior Product Designer responsible for end-to-end ownership of a technician-facing mobile application. This role involves collaborating with product management, engineering, and QA to design mobile experiences that integrate with connected systems and physical products.

Responsibilities:

• Design mobile experiences that integrate with connected systems and physical products
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to define requirements, explore design options, and ensure a high quality implementation
• Apply a systems-thinking approach to create cohesive end-to-end experiences
• Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design direction and validate solutions
• Develop and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and AI-assisted design tools
• Contribute to the evolution of our design system and advocate for consistent, scalable design patterns
• Communicate design rationale and decisions clearly to stakeholders and team members
• Participate in product planning conversations and contribute to roadmap prioritization through the lens of user experience
• Provide feedback to peers and support junior designers through informal mentorship
• Champion a user-centered mindset within cross-functional teams and help shape design best practices across the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field—or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience designing digital products for mobile and web applications
• A portfolio demonstrating strong design craft, thoughtful problem-solving, and shipped work at scale
• Advanced proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping
• Strong systems-thinking skills—able to connect hardware, software, and service touchpoints into cohesive experiences
• Experience with Connected Hardware / IoT product experience
• Technical curiosity and ability to learn quickly about product functionality, device connectivity, or installation workflows
• Strong understanding of user-centered design processes and interaction design principles
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate design workflows, including ideation, prototyping, and content generation
• Ability to analyze user research and apply insights to improve product experiences
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality design work
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working with ambiguity
• Demonstrated proficiency using AI-assisted design and development tools
• Familiarity with usability-testing and research tools (e.g., Maze, UserTesting)
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
• Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration around system-level design challenges
