Job Overview:
Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsible for special procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images produced. Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
Evidence of Radiology Technology training from the United States Military or graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences is required.
Licenses/Certificates:
ARRT certification and Illinois State IEMA certification required at time of hire. CT registry preferred.
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
Experience:
New grads accepted. Two years’ experience as a staff technologist is preferred
Compensation:
Hourly Range- $27.50-$44.25
Incentives:
