Automation Test Engineer

Verifi is an expanding global SaaS and IoT technology company focused on the construction industry, dedicated to connecting the physical world with intelligent software. The Automation Test Engineer will own the automation pipeline and tool chain for the Software Engineering department, ensuring 90%+ automated test coverage for web-based products built on an Angular frontend.

Responsibilities:

• Owning the automation pipeline and tool chain for Software Engineering department
• Acting as the subject matter expert testing Verifi's SaaS offerings
• Providing 90%+ automated test coverage for products
• Delivering a CI/CD solution for testing nightly builds of a SaaS product
• Designing a robust working test process that delivers on the promise of 90%+ automated test coverage
• Analyzing frontend and backend performance and working with developers to eliminate bottlenecks
• Collaborating across disciplines between development, data science, and product teams
• Communicating effectively with strong verbal and written skills

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of automated test engineering experience with Playwright or Cypress
• 5+ years of designing an automated test pipeline for CI/CD testing nightly builds of SaaS products
• Proven ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority
• Cross collaborate between disciplines, including development, data science, and product
• Proficient in TypeScript
• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions
• Automated tests across mobile apps
