Univar Solutions is a leading global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to safety and health. They are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Account Manager to grow their business by managing accounts and developing new customer relationships, particularly within the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong relationships with our customers by managing and growing accounts
- Build profitable sales in an assigned territory, calling on customers within the oil and gas industry mainly focusing on the downstream and midstream business segment
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-tier service, technical support, safe and innovative solutions to our customers
- Prioritize selling time and results to effectively manage your sales funnel and territory
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in a similar role within the B2B sales environment and a demonstrated track record of success in building relationships and achieving sales targets
- You're not just driven—you're self-directed and focused on outcomes. You take initiative, act decisively, and consistently deliver results
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- You're a good listener and are curious, with a passion for learning about the customers' needs, solving problems and winning business
- You plan and prepare so you can conduct effective sales calls, make persuasive presentations, handle objections, negotiate, demonstrate value, and close deals
- A bachelor's degree preferred
- Willingness to travel within your assigned territory
