Akkodis is seeking a Physical Security Project Manager for a 9 Months Contract job. The role involves leading program coordination, planning, and execution for a global physical security initiative across multiple regions and office locations, ensuring successful deployment and standardization of physical security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a global physical security program plan, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies across regions (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
- Support creation of a structured project team model, defining roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths
- Coordinate phased deployment strategies across multiple locations, including new builds and office expansions
- Support vendor selection processes, define scope, and participate in evaluations
- Coordinate vendor activities to ensure alignment with timelines, standards, and quality expectations
- Act as the central point of coordination between internal teams and third-party integrators
- Oversee deployment of physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, and perimeter security
- Track progress across regions, manage dependencies, and ensure timely execution
- Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies
- Serve as liaison across Security, Facilities, IT, HR, and Real Estate teams
- Ensure alignment between physical security systems and enterprise network requirements, HR systems, and construction timelines
- Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and issues
- Support budget tracking, forecasting, and cost control
- Establish governance processes for decision-making and change management
Requirements:
- 15+ years of expertise as a Project/Program Manager in leading global, multi-site physical security deployments (including access control, video surveillance, and infrastructure)
- Strong capabilities in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and end-to-end program execution
- Strong experience in project management leadership across networking, security, cloud, or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing multiple complex technology projects
- Expertise in building and maintaining detailed project schedules (MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar)
- Strong documentation, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate across diverse groups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation planning
- Ability to manage large-scale programs with multiple dependencies
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Teams
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- PMP certification or equivalent
- 15+ years of experience in program/project management
- Ability to pass background check requirements
