Specright is hiring an AI Product Manager to help build out an agentic AI-based PLM and product development solution. The role involves collaborating with software engineers, defining product features, and utilizing AI-assisted workflows for effective product management.
Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize features across your product areas, making smart bets on what to build, what to defer, and what to kill
- Maintain living requirements docs, context summaries, and decision records that the development team actually uses
- Write requirements in structured, testable formats (acceptance criteria, business rules, scope boundaries)
- Prototype UI concepts and workflows directly. You're comfortable spinning up a branch, mocking up a screen, or pair-prototyping with an engineer
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning as a technical peer
- Lead deep-dive customer sessions with R&D managers, scientists, formulators, and regulatory specialists
- Translate complex domain problems into clear product decisions. You need to be comfortable going deep on industry-specific workflows and regulatory requirements
- Maintain competitive intelligence and use it to inform roadmap and positioning decisions
- Use and improve AI-assisted workflows for requirements intake, competitive research, regulatory analysis, and backlog management
- Collaborate with an engineering team that ships using agentic coding tools and modern AI-assisted development workflows
Requirements:
- 4+ years of product management experience on technical, data-intensive products like PLM, ERP, formulation, labeling, or supply chain software strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work at the code level: prototyping, reading PRs, writing structured specs that engineers respect, debugging product behavior
- Deep comfort with AI-assisted workflows. You already use Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools to accelerate your own work, and you're not waiting for someone to teach you
- Strong customer-facing skills where you can hold your own in a room with food scientists, regulatory experts, or enterprise IT leaders
- Clear, concise written communication as you write requirements that reduce ambiguity, not create it
- Domain experience in FoodBeverage, Personal Care / Cosmetics, or Supplements
- Experience working in regulated product environments (FDA, USDA, EU, or similar)
- Familiarity with agentic AI patterns like tool calling, orchestration, retrieval pipelines, evals., sufficient to be a credible partner to engineering
- Background in B2B SaaS at a growth-stage company
