Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. They are looking for a Project Manager for Electrical Products to manage multiple projects, interface with stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery while adhering to company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Project manager for multiple projects across the country
- Support project stakeholders on day- to-day activities
- Attend Factory Witness Tests
- Create baseline project schedules and reset customer expectations (if required) upon project kickoff
- Set firm expectations on expected product release dates
- Ability to work with Compas to make configuration changes related to project changes or material adds to orders
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues
- Ability to increase business unit margins through positive value adds on change orders, price escalations and selling extended warranties
- Track and keep customers updated on pressing project issues
- Track ship shorts
- Provide Financial Invoice Summaries and reconciliation support to closeout project at the completion of contracted scope of supply
- Coordinate deliveries with project site
- Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and challenges
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations
- Applies skills to resolve complex problems to ensure successful delivery of projects pursuant to customer deliverables and agreed upon contract terms
- Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact,complex and/or cross-functional problems
- Develops risk mitigation plans to preempt potential problems through the application ofconcepts, techniques, knowledge, processes, and lessons learned
- Complies with Siemens policies and procedures
- Demonstrate ownership of project with minimal intervention from Sales
- Will assist and support in warranty related claims while balancing best bottom-line results and customer experience
Requirements:
- BS/BA, BS in engineering or Business
- 3 plus years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Products/Power Distribution, General Contractors, Subcontractors and Electrical Contractors
- Experience with (COMPAS GO, COMPAS, SAP, and exposure to Tableau etc.)
- Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future
- BS in engineering
- Working with distributors
- Working with construction
- PMI - PMP or equivalent
- Demonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Low Voltage Electrical Systems products
- Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documents
- Demonstrate and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
