Project Manager, Electrical Products

Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. They are looking for a Project Manager for Electrical Products to manage multiple projects, interface with stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery while adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Project manager for multiple projects across the country
• Support project stakeholders on day- to-day activities
• Attend Factory Witness Tests
• Create baseline project schedules and reset customer expectations (if required) upon project kickoff
• Set firm expectations on expected product release dates
• Ability to work with Compas to make configuration changes related to project changes or material adds to orders
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues
• Ability to increase business unit margins through positive value adds on change orders, price escalations and selling extended warranties
• Track and keep customers updated on pressing project issues
• Track ship shorts
• Provide Financial Invoice Summaries and reconciliation support to closeout project at the completion of contracted scope of supply
• Coordinate deliveries with project site
• Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and challenges
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations
• Applies skills to resolve complex problems to ensure successful delivery of projects pursuant to customer deliverables and agreed upon contract terms
• Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact,complex and/or cross-functional problems
• Develops risk mitigation plans to preempt potential problems through the application ofconcepts, techniques, knowledge, processes, and lessons learned
• Complies with Siemens policies and procedures
• Demonstrate ownership of project with minimal intervention from Sales
• Will assist and support in warranty related claims while balancing best bottom-line results and customer experience

Requirements:

• BS/BA, BS in engineering or Business
• 3 plus years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Products/Power Distribution, General Contractors, Subcontractors and Electrical Contractors
• Experience with (COMPAS GO, COMPAS, SAP, and exposure to Tableau etc.)
• Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future
• BS in engineering
• Working with distributors
• Working with construction
• PMI - PMP or equivalent
• Demonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Low Voltage Electrical Systems products
• Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documents
• Demonstrate and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
