Senior Product Designer, Client-Facing

PhysicsX is a deep-tech company dedicated to accelerating hardware innovation at the speed of software. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to work on advanced AI and engineering solutions for enterprise clients, focusing on user-centered design and collaboration with technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead customer delivery engagements: Partner directly with enterprise clients to translate business and technical needs into actionable design solutions that deliver measurable value
• Conduct discovery and research: Plan and lead workshops, interviews, and contextual research to deeply understand user workflows and align stakeholders around shared goals
• Design for delivery: Create pragmatic artefacts such as wireframes, prototypes, and specifications that accelerate implementation and maintain clarity through technical delivery
• Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with Delivery Leads, Data Scientists, and Simulation Engineers to ensure designs balance innovation with feasibility
• Support business development: Contribute to proposals, early-stage discovery, and pre-sales activities, helping identify opportunities where design can create commercial advantage
• Develop scalable systems: Build and maintain design systems and component libraries that enable consistency and efficiency across complex enterprise solutions
• Champion user-centred delivery: Balance usability, performance, and commercial priorities, maintaining focus on solutions that serve both users and clients effectively
• Mentor and elevate others: Provide design direction and support for junior designers in client contexts, helping raise the overall standard of delivery
