Mechanical Design Engineer III (2556)

RISINGSUN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer III to join their team. The role involves executing finite element analysis of gas turbine rotors, conducting detailed evaluations of structural integrity, and enhancing CAD models using Siemens NX.

Responsibilities:

• Execute 2D and 3D finite element analysis (FEA) of gas turbine rotors using ANSYS
• Conduct in-depth post-processing activities, including low-cycle fatigue (LCF) crack initiation and propagation studies, bolted joint performance analysis, and overall structural integrity evaluations
• Retrieve, organize, and maintain CAD models from PLM systems
• Update, enhance, and prepare CAD models using Siemens NX
• Compile detailed technical reports summarizing analytical results and key conclusions
• Design and implement Python-based automation solutions to improve efficiency in routine engineering tasks

Requirements:

• MUST BE A US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• MUST BE willing to work on our W2
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
