Lead Software Engineer - Service Now

Sanford Health is one of the largest and fastest-growing not-for-profit health systems in the United States. The Lead Software Engineer will direct day-to-day work prioritization, lead projects regarding application analysis, coding, testing, and enhancement, while providing guidance and mentorship to all engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Research platform emerging technologies
• Mature the development lifecycle process & lead Peer Review
• Mentor team members & audit in-progress work to confirm standards are being followed
• Review technical debt & determine strategies for reduction
• Oversight of platform security, encryption layers & business continuity
• Lead product POV engagements & consult with teams exploring new functionality
• Assist Manager with product playbooks & benchmarking, service recovery plans, and onboarding for Engineers

Requirements:

• ServiceNow Certifications for CSA & CAD Required
• Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field required
• Five Years Of Related Experience Required
• Must have good communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience interfacing with Executive Leadership required
• Master's degree preferred
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certified or ITIL experience preferred
