Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and telecommunications initiatives in a mission critical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end to end project management activities across IT and telecommunications initiatives supporting DHS ICE OSDSS
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with program goals and customer expectations
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing mitigation strategies and escalation when necessary
- Coordinate cross functional teams including engineers, analysts, and external partners to ensure successful delivery
- Track and report project performance, including status updates, milestones, and key performance indicators
- Support budgeting activities including cost estimation, tracking, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal standards, contract requirements, and program governance processes
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, leadership, and technical teams
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or an Associates degree and 7 years of experience or a High School diploma/equivalent and 9 years of experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DHS Public Trust
- 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within an IT environment
- Proven experience managing technical or operational projects from initiation through completion
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, and performance tracking tools
- Strong understanding of requirements gathering, scope definition, and systems implementation
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- DHS Public Trust clearance or higher
- Experience supporting DHS, ICE, or other federal government agencies
- Familiarity with government contracting environments and compliance requirements
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience supporting telecommunications or infrastructure related projects
