As a Sr IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering best-practice project planning and management, driving transformation and customer experience objectives while managing multiple projects efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Define resource allocations, influence sponsors, manage priorities, and make decisions on human, technical, and financial resources to implement enterprise-wide change
- Contribute to early engagement, gap analysis, and operational change management and project lifecycle delivery for medium to large projects
- Serve as a key resource for the PMO, developing relationships between IT and various customer constituencies including patients, providers, and clinical staff
- Ensure the efficient operation of the organization's systems to maintain financial success and cope with market pressures
- Establish and maintain communication channels between business, IT, and relevant stakeholders
- Develop large scale project plans identifying key issues, approaches, performance metrics, and resources required
- Supervise project resources required to deliver each task
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Experience in Project Management methodologies and tool sets – waterfall/agile/scrum, planning, issue escalation, problem resolution, conflict and collision management, metrics and reporting, communications, etc
- Project Management experience in a Health care environment
- 5+ years with strong functional understanding of hospital, clinic, and billing operations
- 3+ years of multi-hospital and large project management experience
