System One is a leader in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America. They are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise business applications that support plant operations and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, support, and optimize enterprise business applications supporting plant operations, including EAM/ERP systems and the Dynamic Work Execution Platform (DWEP)
- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise applications in Windows and Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Lead conversion of procedures into digital instructions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance usability and compliance
- Support integration between enterprise platforms such as IoT, GIS, SCADA, financial, and HR systems, including automation of deployment and monitoring
- Participate in business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity compliance efforts, supporting audits and regulatory requirements
- Lead or contribute to system lifecycle initiatives, including upgrades, implementation, and retirement to ensure seamless operations
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering teamwork and collaboration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years managing enterprise or business applications, with at least 5 years administering ERP/EAM platforms in regulated environments such as utilities or manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with ERP/EAM systems like Oracle, IBM Maximo, or Asset Suite
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and API/ETL integration tools
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), hybrid environments, and enterprise application hosting
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, ITSM tools, and ITIL processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities
- 5+ years experience with nuclear-grade procedures and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FERC, NERC CIP, or NQA-1
