Job Description:
- Resource will work on the Compliance + TLS project. The objective of the project is to bring web servers and database global compliance metrics to at least 95%.
- Analyse potential impact to applications of implementation of web servers and databases hardening rules
- Triage potential false positive or false negative rules evaluations
- Review and track implementation of hardening controls from the technical point of view
- Engage with global VSS and/or global GRC teams in case adjustments to global guides are needed
- Run compliance scans after remediations occur
- Provide CIOs guidance on application updates needed to solve application compatibility issues with hardening rules.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience
- Experience doing Hardening Compliance evaluations
- Experience with Qualys Policy Compliance Module
- Experience assessing compliance against CIS Benchmarks
- Experience managing security configuration settings on O.S., middleware, network equipment or firewalls/IPS
- Experience generating hardening compliance metrics for tracking and audit purposes
- Ability to perform gap assessments on Hardening policies
- Ability to provide guidance to sysadmins on how to adjust settings to make IT assets more secure
- Ability to perform configurations in Qualys PC module to perform compliance assessments on hardening
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience as sysadmin is a plus
- Spanish is a plus, not a requirement
