About this role
The Law Enforcement Operations (LEO) Team is responsible for reviewing Emergency Response (ER) & Child Safety (CS) livestream content and escalating that which poses a risk to the user and/or abuse or exploitation. The team's assessment procedures involve reviewing and analyzing reported or flagged livestream content to determine if it warrants any risk to the users ' lives and then taking appropriate action, such as escalating the content to the appropriate department. We strive to minimize the impact on our users and the company by quickly and efficiently reviewing livestream content, posts, comments, and user profiles, and escalating any concerning incidents to ER Team or CS Team for further investigation.
Responsibilities:
- Immediate assessment and review of Emergency & Child Safety Livestream content that poses an extreme risk to a user and /or child abuse or exploitation.
- Conduct livestream proactive reporting, processing, and profile content sweeps for escalations to law enforcement.
- Extensive knowledge across relevant policies to enable swift decision making adhering to robust SLA's.
- Reviewing content, posts, comments, users profiles while assessing the escalation in line with a risk assessment matrix.
- Record relevant notes and decisions in line with policies and SOP's.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes.
- Investigate and resolve urgent, imminent reports of threats, including verifying the threat's existence and conducting deep-dive investigations into platform and user data.
- Drive and participate in key projects across Trust and Safety.
This role requires you to work full weekend coverage and public holidays due to the necessity of 24/7 coverage during normal office hours. The expected work shift would be one of these full weekend coverage:
