CVS Health is focused on creating a more connected and compassionate health experience. The Project Manager - Program Strategy will lead the planning and execution of key organizational projects, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and budgets while managing risks and resources effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Under general direction, leads the planning and execution of key organizational projects, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budget constraints
- Develops project plans and team member assignments, defines specific deliverables and deadlines, and establishes project milestones for the organization
- Conducts project post-mortems to capture and apply lessons learned to identify areas for improvement and shares process enhancements to optimize project management practices
- Implements and enforces quality control processes to identify and resolve any deviations or deficiencies
- Develops change management plans and strategies to minimize resistance and ensure successful adoption
- Identifies project risks and issues, develops risk mitigation strategies, and establishes contingency plans
- Prepares and delivers project progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Directs individuals to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjust priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest level of attention to detail
- Coaches more junior colleagues in current project management techniques, processes, and responsibilities
Requirements:
- 5-7 years work experience in Managed Care environment
- Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Project Management Professional(PMP) preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. Equivalent Experience
- High School Diploma Or General Equivalent Development (GED)
