Visual Concepts is one of the world’s top game development studios, known for its diverse and empowered teams. The role of a databuild engineer involves maintaining tools and pipelines for the NBA 2K game, ensuring builds run flawlessly while contributing to the improvement of the build pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain asset generation scripts and tools that are critical to our games’ success
- Primary responsibility for troubleshooting build-related incidents
- Contributing to improvements our build pipeline
- Continuously work to make your own life easier by writing scripts to automate events, and processes
- Learn from leaders with decades of experience building world-class AAA games
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- C++ experience
- Advanced debugging skills
- Experience with source control, bug tracking, and external asset delivery
- Worked and collaborated effectively as part of a team
- Experience with Jenkins pipeline development
- Python experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills
- A high standard for clean, well-documented, efficient code
