IT Manager - Product Delivery

Progressive Insurance is dedicated to helping employees move forward and live fully in their careers. As an IT manager on the Product Delivery team, you'll lead a team to deliver rate revision projects and collaborate with business partners on innovative product models and features.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers, quality assurance analysts, business system analysts, and agile analysts who deliver rate revision projects using iterative development
• Collaborate with business partners to bring innovative product models, rate changes, compliance, and new features to the market
• Support core business through project and resource management
• Expand domain knowledge across multiple applications, improve portfolio practices, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of 1 year of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery
• Experience in people management, portfolio, and project management
• Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with collaborators
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization with shared responsibilities
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives with Lean methodologies
• Experience fostering a positive team culture and supporting team development
