They are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support their Equity Management business unit, focusing on pre-sales support, technical discovery, and product demonstrations for broker partners.
Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment of new brokerage partners by leading product demonstrations and technical deep-dives that showcase Certent Equity Management’s broker integration capabilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact during broker partner evaluations, walking prospective partners through CEM’s broker implementation architecture, data flows, and integration touchpoints
- Partner with Account Executives to build compelling business cases, including ROI analyses and value positioning strategies
- Develop and deliver training programs for brokerage partner teams, enabling them to effectively navigate and utilize the CEM platform in their day-to-day operations
- Advise broker partners on best practices for leveraging CEM, drawing on insights from how our client base uses the platform across different equity plan structures and corporate actions
- Act as a hybrid Solutions Engineer and Relationship Manager for the broker partner channel, owning ongoing broker engagement to drive partner satisfaction, platform adoption, and incremental revenue growth
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, presales, consulting, equity plan administration, or a related customer-facing role within enterprise software or financial services
- Strong knowledge of equity compensation plans (stock options, RSUs, ESPPs, SARs, performance shares) and their accounting treatment under ASC 718 and IFRS 2
- Experience with equity compensation as it relates to brokerage operations, including trade execution workflows, share settlement, and broker-platform integrations
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling software demonstrations to executive and technical audiences
- Experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders across Finance, HR, Legal, and IT
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for both enterprise clients and channel partners
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities across direct sales and partner channels in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field
- CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation or active candidacy
- Direct experience working at or with a brokerage firm in an equity compensation capacity, such as partner onboarding, broker integrations, or trade settlement operations
- Experience with ERP, payroll, or HRIS integrations (Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors) in the context of equity compensation
- Familiarity with IPO readiness, Section 16 reporting, or SOX compliance as it relates to equity administration
