Project Manager - Data Center Migration

SRM Digital LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Data Center Migration to lead and execute assigned migration workstreams within a large-scale data center transformation program. This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and application migration activities, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal business disruption.

Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned data center migration projects/workstreams from initiation through closure
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports using MS Project and Excel
• Perform data analysis, dataset comparisons, and generate insights to support migration decisions and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application, infrastructure, network, and security to execute migration activities
• Track dependencies and ensure readiness for migration waves, cutovers, and transition milestones
• Support application migration lifecycle activities including discovery, planning, testing, and cutover execution
• Oversee data center decommissioning activities within assigned scope
• Identify risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate when necessary
• Ensure compliance with change management, governance, and operational readiness processes
• Provide timely and accurate status updates to Program Managers and key stakeholders
• Participate in governance forums, reviews, and migration readiness checkpoints

Requirements:

• 8–12 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years in Project Management roles
• Hands-on experience in Data Center Migration and/or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of: Server, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies
• Application migration lifecycle
• IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong project planning, coordination, and documentation skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Experience working in global delivery models
• PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification
