Teladoc Health is transforming how better health happens, and they are seeking a Systems Engineer II specializing in Jira administration. The role involves supporting Atlassian Jira and Confluence Cloud administration, managing service requests, and performing requirements gathering for internal customers.
Responsibilities:
- Support Atlassian Jira and Confluence Cloud administration, including creation and management of complex custom projects, comprehensive workflows (with conditions, validators, and triggered post functions), security schemes, custom fields, dashboards, and reports configurations
- Monitor and resolve incoming service requests as they arise with JIRA Projects and Confluence in coordination with the Teladoc Jira Operations team
- Perform requirements gathering for internal customers, business process workflows, and process improvement for JIRA/Confluence workflows and processes in place, identifying where functionality can/cannot meet user requests
- Create and maintain detailed internal technical documentation
- Potential role expansion for the administration of our TeamDynamix and TeamSupport ITSM ticketing software
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of Jira cloud administration / configuration experience
- Experience creating projects and building customized workflows, permission schemes and the JQL(JIRA Query Language)
- Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication, good work ethic, and the ability to work with diverse teams across different time zones over video chat, instant message and email
- Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with Jira Automation using 'Jira Automation', JSU Automation, and ScriptRunner scripts using behaviors, listeners, and scripted fields
- Experience with the use of the Jira API
- Certified Professional in Atlassian Suite or Atlassian Administration
- Knowledge of Scrum, Agile and continuous integration and deployment practices
