About this role
Clevanoo LLC is seeking a Senior Azure Automation Engineer with deep experience in building end-to-end IT automation across SaaS systems, identity platforms, and cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on designing and improving automation that powers identity, access, provisioning, and operational workflows across the company, emphasizing automation engineering over cloud administration.
Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance automation for IT workflows using PowerShell, Azure Runbooks, and API integrations
- Develop end-to-end user lifecycle automation (onboarding, offboarding, contractors, recertifications)
- Integrate SaaS applications via REST APIs, Graph API, SCIM, and IdP connectors
- Automate provisioning/deprovisioning across OneLogin/Okta, O365, and downstream SaaS apps
- Strengthen automation reliability through logging, alerting, retries, and error-handling frameworks
- Lead automation initiatives tied to identity governance, access control, and permissions workflows
- Build scalable solutions for group-based access, role assignments, and entitlement workflows
- Maintain and improve Azure automation accounts, runbooks, and supporting cloud infrastructure
- Support Azure-based workflows (VMs, networking, runbooks, automation accounts) as part of automation pipelines
- Mentor engineers on automation best practices
- Drive cross-functional automation projects with IT, Security, and business teams
- Identify gaps in current systems and engineer scalable, automated solutions
Requirements:
- 5+ years building automation for IT operations, with a strong emphasis on SaaS + identity workflows
- PowerShell expert — capable of building production‑grade automation with APIs, error handling, and logging
- Hands‑on experience with IdPs (OneLogin, Okta) and identity lifecycle automation
- Strong experience integrating SaaS systems via REST APIs, Graph API, SCIM, or webhook‑based workflows
- Experience maintaining Azure automation (runbooks, automation accounts, Azure Functions)
- Experience designing scalable automation frameworks that reduce manual operational overhead
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
