Java Production Support Engineer

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Java Production Support Engineer to join one of their top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting a large-scale enterprise application within the retirement and wealth management domain, ensuring system stability and performance during the transition from development into production operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for enterprise-level applications, ensuring system stability and performance
• Analyze and resolve complex production incidents escalated from Tier 1 support
• Perform root cause analysis across application code, data inconsistencies, system integrations, and business processes
• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues
• Support ongoing system stability, performance improvements, and cloud migration efforts

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience with active coding skills
• Experience with Spring Boot framework
• Ability to troubleshoot across full-stack application environments
• Proven experience working in production support or high-availability environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose complex issues
