Model - Based Systems Engineer IV/V

Zone 5 Technologies is redefining unmanned aircraft systems with innovative solutions. They are seeking a Systems Engineer IV/V to apply model-based systems engineering techniques to design, prototype, integrate, and test unmanned systems and munitions.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage system models through Cameo Systems Modeler and Simulink
• Define and enhance system requirements using MBSE methodologies
• Prototype and engineer system solutions
• Conduct comprehensive subsystem and system testing
• Analyze data and troubleshoot challenges
• Participate in design evaluations and technical gatherings
• Engage with diverse teams to ensure seamless system synergy

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Possess extensive proficiency in Cameo Systems Modeler
• Bring over 4 - 10 years of hands-on experience in model-based systems engineering
• Demonstrate expertise in unmanned systems, aircraft, and/or munitions
• Capability to lead and guide junior staff in an inclusive manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practical hands-on experience preferred (e.g., design/build/fly, RC aircraft, pilot)
• A collaborative team player
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
