Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their User Experience organization. This role focuses on delivering user-centered design solutions for digital tools that enhance agent efficiency and reduce costs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work in an agile environment. You will attend daily agile ceremonies with your aligned team, partnering closely with product owners, product designers, and engineers, as well as content designers, marketers, analysts, and researchers
- Dig deep into user problems. You’ll be tasked with understanding complex product requirements and untangling interaction design problems to find the best solutions to help users complete their tasks
- Continuously seek and integrate user feedback. You will help identify user research needs and participate in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing to evaluate UX effectiveness and determine where and how to optimize the experience
- Coordinate across multiple projects and workstreams. You’ll learn a complex product ecosystem and collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless experience for the user
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in a related field
- Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup
- Familiarity with the following core disciplines, with demonstrated expertise in at least two and familiarity with two others: visual design, UX design, prototyping, front-end development, user research and/or experiment design
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to present projects and status reports to senior management
- Strong organization and analytic thinking skills, with ability to translate moderately complex content into user scenarios, flows and diagrams
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with power users, complex tools and/or regulated industries
- Proactive communicator
- Desire to contribute to a highly collaborative design team
