Maxell Corporation of America is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist with comprehensive knowledge and experience in the OEM Micro-Battery and Automotive Lens Markets. In this role, you will develop and manage technical programs with strategic accounts for growth as well as identify new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- New project development tasks. Manage schedules and achieve launch requirements
- Understanding of OEM product qualification especially in from concept to completion
- Meet or exceed sales revenue
- Develop strong relationships with strategic accounts and new business opportunities
- Initiate and secure new business for the OEM Battery and Lens Automotive Markets to achieve year over year sales growth
- Manage and support existing account activity with forecasts, quotations, orders
- Monitor and identify market trends, competitors, and new sales leads; attend trade shows
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or related experience in business or technical field
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in regional or strategic account management
- OEM program management or technical background in battery or automotive lens industry required
- Proven history of meeting/exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota
- Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills required
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro
- Travel Required
- Understanding of Industrial OEM product and/or Automotive Industry qualification process preferred
