The role involves defining strategies across SEO, PPC, and content distribution while leading a team of specialists to drive measurable performance and stay ahead of industry trends.

- Define and evolve strategy across: SEO (technical, content, authority), Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, Google Local Service Ads (LSA), Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
- Incorporate evolving best practices, including Ai-driven search where relevant
- Align strategy with client growth goals and company priorities
- Lead and develop a team of SEO, PPC, and content specialists
- Set clear KPIs, expectations, and accountability
- Coach team members to improve strategy, execution, and communication
- Maintain a team of high-performing A-players
- Oversee strategy for: YouTube content and SEO, Video production aligned with search intent, Social media distribution and visibility
- Ensure content supports: Rankings, Engagement, Lead generation
- Oversee: Website architecture and technical SEO, Page speed and performance, Indexing, crawlability, and structured data
- Ensure consistent application of best practices across accounts
- Oversee performance of: Google Ads campaigns, Local Service Ads (LSA)
- Optimize: Conversion rates, Cost per lead, Return on ad spend
- Guide content strategy aligned with: Search intent, Frequently asked questions, High-value case-driving topics
- Oversee white-hat link building strategies
- Ensure content depth, quality, and consistency
- Contribute directly on select high-priority client accounts
- Support: Strategy development, Problem-solving, Performance improvements
- Act as a senior resource for complex or high-impact initiatives
- Own performance tracking across: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Campaign dashboards
- Translate data into: Clear insights, Actionable recommendations
- Drive continuous improvement
- Participate in weekly Leadership Level 10 (L10) meetings
- Set and track Rocks for the Search team
- Ensure alignment with company scorecards and priorities
- Help build scalable systems and accountability
Requirements:
- Technical SEO
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
- Link building and authority development
- Content strategy and search intent alignment
- Paid search (Google Ads, LSA)
- YouTube SEO and video content strategy
- Social media strategy and distribution
- Advanced use of Google Analytics
- Advanced use of Google Search Console
- Advanced use of SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Strong understanding of website architecture
- Strong understanding of conversion optimization
- Strong understanding of tracking and attribution
- 6–10+ years in SEO / PPC / digital marketing
- 3+ years managing teams
- Proven track record of driving measurable growth
- Agency or high-performance environment experience preferred
