Digital Media Solutions (DMS) is a leading provider of technology-enabled digital performance advertising solutions. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role focuses on generating new business opportunities by identifying and engaging prospective advertisers through outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume cold calls, emails, and other outbound outreach to prospective advertisers
- Identify and research target accounts and key decision-makers
- Generate interest and initiate conversations with new prospects
- Qualify prospects based on business needs, budget, and fit
- Ask effective discovery questions to determine opportunity potential
- Ensure leads meet criteria before passing to senior sales team members
- Consistently create qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and pipeline targets
- Maintain a steady flow of new prospects entering the sales funnel
- Accurately log all outreach, activities, and lead status in CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
- Keep prospect data up to date and organized
- Track personal performance against activity and pipeline goals
- Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects across multiple touchpoints
- Nurture early-stage leads until they are ready to engage with senior sales
- Maintain professional and persistent communication
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling rejection
- Ability to manage high activity levels and stay organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Inside sales or SDR experience with quota achievement
- Experience with high-volume cold calling and outbound prospecting
- Experience writing cold outreach emails
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Understanding of sales activity metrics and pipeline generation
- Existing industry contacts or book of business (a plus)
