Manager, Applied AI Scientist (Lead design and development manager over AI)

Bentley Systems is a world-leading software company providing solutions for architecture, engineering, and construction. They are seeking a Manager, Applied AI Scientist to lead their applied artificial intelligence research and product innovation, guiding a multidisciplinary team and ensuring alignment with industry advancements and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all AI research that will be conducted by us. This means:
• Supervise other research going on
• Conduct new activities
• Monitor the latest in research and industry related to machine learning and AI
• Manage the AI team. Will have all the AI researchers and engineers reporting to this role. This includes people with PhD, Masters and B.Sc
• Represent us in customer meetings and industry when related to machine learning and AI
• Assist the Senior Director with all AI activities that we are conducting within the Assist management group and Bentley overall
• Responsible for all AI products and components generated by collaborate.center (Talon, TalonView)
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements)

Requirements:

• PHD in data sciences, machine learning and/or Artificial intelligence
• Accomplished with strong AI experience
• Experience in building AI based products
• Experience with dealing with data-challenging AI. This includes lack and unbalanced data
• Managing Research and product team. This includes managing PhD, Masters level experts
• Published and accomplished
• Preferred to have worked on Visual Machine Learning including images, 2D and 3D visual information
• Large Language Model knowledge, working experience and research especially visual LLM
• Graph neural networks and Tabular Data ML and AI
