The Sales Manager, Key Account Specialists is responsible for leading and managing the Key Account Specialist team, ensuring high-quality account management and execution across key accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Key Account Specialists
- Ensure consistent execution of plant-level account management
- Drive accountability for responsiveness and follow-through
- Monitor performance against KPIs including growth, retention, and execution quality
- Partner with KAMs and internal teams to align strategy and execution
- Serve as escalation point for complex plant-level issues
- Improve processes, tools, and standards to scale the KAS model
Requirements:
- Associate's degree required
- 7 - 12+ years of experience in adhesives, industrial sales, manufacturing, or application engineering required
- Must have strong understanding of plant-level operations
- Ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable required
- Must be willing to travel regularly
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years' experience as a people-leader preferred
- Experience with strategic or national accounts preferred
- Packaging, food & beverage, converting, or assembly industry experience preferred
- Strong technical understanding of adhesive chemistries preferred
- Experience managing field-based teams preferred
- Dispensing equipment experience preferred
