About this role
Hook is a social music platform that focuses on music discovery and creator growth. They are seeking a Product Designer to lead the Studio experience, ensuring a cohesive creation experience across mobile and web surfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive design for the Creator / Studio Platform across mobile and web
- Design end-to-end creation workflows, from first-time use to advanced editing and publishing
- Balance simplicity and creative power, enabling both casual creators and power users
- Translate product goals and user insights into clear, high-quality design solutions
- Explore multiple directions, prototype quickly, and iterate based on feedback and data
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape solutions and ensure high-quality execution
- Go deep on interaction design and craft to elevate the overall experience
- Ensure consistency and cohesion across surfaces, contributing to a shared design system
- Support adjacent areas, including cross-platform journeys and partner-facing tools for labels and artists
