Data Analyst - Databricks

Guidehouse is a consulting firm that helps clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. The Data Analyst role involves designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, troubleshooting data issues, and developing dashboards to support decision-making for clients, particularly in the Department of Homeland Security.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake
• Troubleshoot and resolve Databricks job failures, cluster performance issues, data quality gaps, and pipeline bottlenecks
• Implement CI/CD practices for notebooks, workflows, and data jobs
• Leading and reviewing, data cleaning scripts using tools such as Python
• Maintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools used in operational and strategic decision-making
• Develop dashboards using tools such as Qlik and Tableau
• Collaborate with internal technical and functional teams and serve as a trusted advisor to government clients on data analytics, automation, modeling, and visualization initiatives
• Focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development
• Support business development (such as RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers), internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development
• Operate successfully on remote projects as well as hybrid on-site projects in the DC metro area
