Onos Health is a company focused on optimizing healthcare spending to ensure quality care. They are seeking a Forward-Deployed Product Manager to manage client relationships and translate operational needs into product direction, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's healthcare AI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own the own the strategic relationship with the client, understand their pain points, and help guide to the product for their specific needs
- Develop deep fluency in how health plans operate across utilization management, prior authorization, and clinical workflows so you can anticipate needs and drive real outcomes
- Translate customer requirements into clear product specs and acceptance criteria that your engineering partner can execute against
- Manage project timelines and delivery, holding the pod accountable and communicating proactively when things shift
- Surface patterns across your accounts that inform the broader product roadmap
- Help define the playbook for how Onos serves customers as we grow
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in product management and/or consulting
- Strong communicator who can run a client meeting, write a clear spec, and follow up without being chased
- Project management discipline; you track details, hit deadlines, and keep things moving
- Comfortable working with technical teams and translating between business and engineering
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity; we're early and the playbook is still being written
- Ability to navigate complex situations across clients
- Passionate about solving healthcare's biggest challenges
- MPH, MHA, or other health policy or public health credential
- Experience at a health plan, BHMO, managed care organization, or health plan vendor
- Strategy consulting background
