Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, revise, or create designs, drawings, and bills of material for complex technical products using CAD software (Pro-E/Creo or SolidWorks preferred)
- Apply engineering and research methods to solve technical and design challenges
- Lead or participate as a contributor within a design and test team
- Provide technical solutions for a range of challenging problems
- Support mechanical design, part fabrication, and assembly of electronic components
- Hands-on work with cutting-edge and occasionally classified technologies
- Collaboration with innovative teams of technical experts
- Opportunities to learn new skills and technologies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience
- Expertise in CAD and file management tools, especially Pro-E/Creo or SolidWorks
- Strong capability in mechanical design and assembly of electronics
- Proven skills in developing/integrating new ideas, optimizing alternatives, and building contingency plans
- U.S. citizenship
