Missio is a Christian marketing company that partners with mission-driven brands and churches. They are seeking an SEO Specialist responsible for developing and executing organic search strategies for clients, ensuring websites are optimized to increase visibility and drive qualified traffic.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and search intent mapping
- Optimize on-page SEO elements (metadata, headers, internal linking, content structure)
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (site speed, indexing, crawlability, Core Web Vitals)
- Collaborate with content, paid media, and web teams to align SEO with broader campaigns
- Provide SEO guidance for blogs, landing pages, and website builds
- Optimize existing content to improve rankings and performance
- Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, and third-party SEO platforms
- Prepare clear, client-friendly reports on rankings, traffic, and conversions
- Communicate insights, recommendations, and next steps to internal teams and clients
- Stay current on algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and industry trends
- Test and refine strategies based on performance data
- Support local SEO efforts when applicable (Google Business Profiles, citations)
Requirements:
- 2+ years of SEO experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO
- Experience working with multiple clients and deadlines
- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
