Conducting historical tours of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, now home to Flagler College to the general public, and running Flagler's Legacy gift shop.
- Open and close shop with minimum assistance
- Conduct a 45-minute scripted historical tour of Flagler College
- Performs general cashiering responsibilities accurately and efficiently, including actively selling tour tickets.
- Greets and assists customers as they enter, peruse, and exit the store
- Monitors inventory, stocks, and cleans where needed
- Assists with general cleaning responsibilities and other duties as assigned
- Assists with merchandising products and creating displays and signs
- Assists with answering the phones and taking special orders
- Provides additional assistance at Flagler's Legacy during special events and holidays
- Other duties as assigned by Flagler's Legacy Managers
- Current Flagler College student
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to speak to groups of 20+ people
- Must be able to communicate their Flagler College experience
- Highly creative and detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be comfortable working with Apple technology
- Must be able to access multi-story building with a staircase
- Must be able to lift and maneuver boxes up to 40lbs
- Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours
