About this role
Role Overview
- Responsible for understanding user needs and optimizing the user experience within NextGen
- Focuses on improving efficiency and client care
- Conducts research and gathers feedback from end-users (clinicians, staff)
- Analyzes existing workflows and identifies areas for improvement
- Configures and customizes the NextGen system
- Conducts usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of the system
- Develops and delivers training materials and support documentation
- Acts as a bridge between clinical staff and development
- Monitors data and analyzes the system for performance issues
- Communicates process changes to management and staff
- Prioritizes user-friendliness in user interface design
- Adheres to HIPAA regulations by implementing data security measures
- Coordinates, develops, tests, implements, and maintains system upgrades
- Assists in managing patients' health information and medical records
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher – preferred
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience developing within Electronic Health Records, Healthcare, SQL, Python, JavaScript, and agile development process.
