Poker Supervisor, Tournament (Caesars New Orleans)

The Poker Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of Supervising Tournament play during the WSOP Circuit Event. 

• Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of Supervision, policies and gaming procedures. 
• Has knowledge in all area’s of Poker Tournament play, including but not limited to rules of play, registration, and facts about the current player of the year standings. 
• Required to communicate all pertinent information to dealers, staff and other departments.    
• Communicate with staff/other departments to ensure accurate transactions.    
• Creates an opportunity for fun and excitement by being friendly, supportive and enthusiastic towards guests.  
• Adheres to Caesars Entertainments appearance standards.  
• Demonstrates positive acceptance of demanding scheduling needs. 
• Helps to maintain a clean and friendly environment for our guests by cleaning around the work area. 
• Able to oversee employees and give clear direction of their role and responsibility.  
• Oversee the performance of front of house employees/dealers.  
• Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same. 
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. 
• Supervisor must complete their daily assignments, paperwork as it relates to their shift responsibility and duties.

• High school diploma or GED is required. 
• Must be able to successfully complete a basic math test, and pass a Caesars audition displaying adequate Poker skills. 
• Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential. 
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. 
• Must present a well-groomed appearance. 
• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, including in and around assigned Pit area, up and down stairs in Theater, during entire shift.  
• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as necessary.  
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guests’ demands in a fast pace environment.  
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.  
• Must be able to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area.  
• Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.  
• Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money.  
• Must accurately balance chip bank at the beginning and end of each shift. 
• Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed to protect the games.  
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.  
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.  
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
